Message to Rick Perry - Don't Veto Moratorium of the TTC

The Trans Texas corridor project is not in the best interest of the people of Texas. The legislature has passed a bill that would place a moratorium on any future building of this monstrosity for a period of two years. Through our elected representatives in the House and Senate of Texas we the people have spoken. Governor Perry if you are a governor who is supposed to represent all the people of Texas then you must sign this bill. Give the State more time to find an alternative to the transportation needs that does not displace thousands of Texans and create great a wall across Texas just to satisfy the mandate of the North American Free Trade Agreement http://www.citizen.org/trade/nafta/and the so called Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America http://www.spp.gov/ . These documents state that the ultimate goal is to make "our businesses more competitive in the global marketplace.” That's globalist doubletalk which means producing U.S. goods with cheap foreign labor, thereby destroying the U.S. middle class. Texans are overwhelmingly against this project and you know it. So do the right thing and sign the legislation sent to you. If you care about Texas and its citizens you will sign the moratorium. If you veto this bill you will confirm what many citizens now think that you put the desire of special interest and your egoism above the rights and desires of the majority of this state’s citizens.

Get involved. Let the Govenor know where you stand on the TTC moratorium and send him a message >http://www.governor.state.tx.us/contact
