Rudy Giuliani Resorts to Fear Mongering
At a recent campaign stop in New Hampshire Giuliani said,"If a Democrat is elected president in 2008, America will be at risk for another terrorist attack on the scale of Sept. 11, 2001... Never ever again will this country ever be on defense waiting for (terrorists) to attack us if I have anything to say about it. And make no mistake; the Democrats want to put us back on defense!"My response follows: President Bush, not the Democratic Party, failed our country by never capturing the true culprit of the 9/11 attacks: Osama bin Laden. Then by falsely leading us into an illegal war with Iraq, he and the Republicans have created more terrorist by the chaos caused by the invasion. When did you serve in the military where are your credentials for being a defender of America? Oh yes, you did manage to take advantage of the terrorist attack on 9/11 and get your face on TV in order to politicize the event by portraying your self as a false hero. You are exploiting a national tragedy and dishonoring those who died on that day for your own political ambitions. I am insulted by your remarks. Democrats are Americans too and we have and will continue to protect and serve our country against all enemies be they foreign or domestic. We will not stand idly by while people like you and your ilk continue to paint us as un-American or weak on terrorism. We have a better way of dealing with the issues one that is not dominated by machismo that your party has displayed and is causing more hatred for America throughout the world. Stop the fear mongering.
